Marc Sadler is pioneer in experimenting with materials and blurring the lines between different technologies, which became the distinguishing features of his work. In the 1970s, he developed the first ski boot made of totally recyclable thermoplastic material, later merchandised by Caber. His specialization in sports design led him to work with the world’s most important multinational corporations. Eclectic designer and world citizen, today he is a consultant for companies in all industrial sectors, spanning global horizons. 4-time winner of the Compasso d’Oro (1994, 2001, 2008 and 2014), the back protector he designed for Dainese is on display in the MOMA permanent collection in New York and the Mite lamp by Foscarini is part of the design collection of the Beaubourg in Paris.
